Internet Film and Music Festival Showcased World Debut Of Ed Wood’s Final Film, Rob Lowe’s Directorial Debut, The Bolex Brothers, Spike and Mike, and Variety of Award-Winning and World-Premiere Films and Music

As creator and executive producer of IFMF, Amye Osti was responsible for website design, production , programming, syndication and the awards ceremony culminating the event.  The online event is best summarized by the following press release.

“Month-Long Virtual Event Will Bring 60 Films, 60 Music Videos and 60 Bands To the Internet Audience

    LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 -- For the first time ever, millions of
consumers worldwide will be able to experience the excitement of a prestigious
film and music festival without getting an invitation, purchasing a ticket or
leaving their homes.  Viewable on StreamSearch.com, the Internet Film and Music Festival
will showcase 60 films, 60 music videos and 60 bands in an unprecedented
month-long virtual event.
    Because the virtual event makes a film and music festival accessible to
millions of consumers, it has attracted the interest and participation of
well-known content providers, including Miramax Films, Artisan Entertainment,
Rhino Films, Showtime, IFILM, Turner Classic Movies, Fox News Channel,
U-Ground, Honkworm, Level 13 Entertainment and Pitch TV.

    More than 4,000 minutes of content will be featured, including full-length
and short films, animation, music videos, and performances from unsigned
bands.  Festival winners will be determined by consumer vote, with three films
receiving a 10-day, 10-screen theatrical run, and three unsigned bands earning
music scholarships to the Halsey Institute, a renowned music and entertainment
business school.  In addition, one consumer winner will drive away in a Toyota
RAV4.
    The festival's diverse content will include the debut of Ed Wood's final
film, "I Woke Up Early the Day I Died," starring Billy Zane, Sandra Bernhard
and Christina Ricci.  Also featured will be the debut of "American Untitled,"
written and directed by Rob Lowe, and "Tom Goes to the Bar," directed,
produced and written by Dean Parisot (director of DreamWorks' "Galaxy Quest").
    Prominent film actors to be seen throughout the festival are Paul Sorvino,
Jennifer Rubin, Cathy Moriarty, Tippi Hedren, Eartha Kitt, Andrew McCarthy,
Will Patton, Ron Perlman, Summer Phoenix, John Ritter, Jonathan Taylor Thomas
and others.  Additional  film content will include The Bolex Brothers' "The
Saint Inspector" and Spike and Mike animated shorts.
    Through a special agreement with Fox News Channel, a unique feature of the
festival will be "Fox Blast from the Past," a compendium of memorable
Movietone News clips from 1922-1964.  Viewers can see clips from 60 years of
living history, including the Wall Street crash of 1929, Green Bay Packers
trouncing the College All-Stars at Chicago's Soldier Field, Hindenburg
disaster, first pictures of the Japanese Pearl Harbor attack, World War II
bomb drill in New York City, inauguration of John F. Kennedy and death of
Marilyn Monroe.
    Music videos will include performances from The Backstreet Boys, Jay Z,
Bush, Garbage, Wyclef Jean, Brian Setzer Orchestra, N'Sync, Christina
Aguilera, TLC and Britney Spears.
    A standout Advisory Board of prestigious entertainment industry
decision-makers includes film studio executives, producers, agents, actors,
journalists and entrepreneurs.  These advisors, who recommended the festival
content, include representatives from Paramount Pictures, ICM, Universal
Studios, Disney Online, American Film Institute and others.
